Character post

My favourite character is certifiably insane. He lives for the chase, and comes up with the craziest stunts. He's always one step ahead it seems. He could care less about money or fame. He would just like to make a point. A point that is surrounded by complete madness and anarchy. However, his game consists of a kind of cat and mouse chase. So, without one there is no need for the chase. He is daring, smart, good at planning, and we can't forget evil. Yes, I my favourite character is a bad guy, not just a bad guy. THE bad guy. In my mind there is no one who could ever top him. He's got the wits, the imagination, the power, A natural born leader of madness. My favourite character is the Joker.

Media Analysis Assignment

The movie was about a man who was voicing his opinion on the freedom of our ideas. Basically, we build our future on past ideas. In order to have a strong future we need to have the assurance and access to past ideas without worrying about a huge lawsuit on our backs as soon as we release our creativity. The film was both biased and not at the same time. It was biased because he was defending his opinion. It was not biased because he was using actual facts to back up his statements.

The filmmaker used allusion by referencing the copyright music issue to the copyright mickey mouse issue. Allusion did not show bias because it made a very good point on the fact that many people enjoy mickey mouse and it is wrong that some people could have been sued just for drawing their own interpretive drawings of the mouse. He also used parallel structure by saying that we build our future based upon our past. If we don't have access to our past, then how can we have a strong future? We build on past ideas no matter what we are doing. Without access to ideas we would never progress further into the future.

In complete acts of defiance we try to set the worlds ideas free. For some people, who got caught, it cost a high price. However, without those people who got caught, the world would be less aware of what a problem this has become. Without the doers of the world the thinkers would never take action. Without the thinkers the doers would never have a plan. They go hand in hand really. To take away ideas would be to take away actions. Actions help move us forward in life. Being creative is only fun if you know you have no limitations. Knowing that you won't be attacked left, right, and center when an idea to build on another idea comes to you and you capitalize on it. It's easy to deal with all the criticism. It's the big wig lawsuits that kill artists. we live in a society where everything is continually changing. That includes music, movies, designs, comics, and especially ideas. If there is room for improvement, even if the original artist calls it perfect or gets mad or doesn't see it, the improvement will be made. If not by one person, then by many. Different people have different ideas about what things should sound, or feel, or look like. They will always capitalize on the idea of improving things. No matter how many threats they get, and other people will follow them. Simply because they like what that person did to improve things.
